Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Asia, partnering with our FC Online and FC Mobile businesses. This role is pivotal in driving HR strategies aligned with business objectives, fostering a culture of performance and development, and leading change management initiatives across multiple markets and studios. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the labor market in Asia (China, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia), act as a strategic partner, drive operational excellence, navigate complex business challenges, and be eager to learn new business environments.
Responsibilities will include
- Build and maintain trust with client groups through expert HR solutions.
- Serve as a thought leader on business issues with people implications.
- Lead with integrity, aligned with EA's core values, and manage conflicting viewpoints to successful outcomes.
- Act as a catalyst for change, helping educate leaders in implementing and driving change in their business unit.
- Partner studio leaders in developing short and long-term talent strategies to achieve business results
- Drive initiatives in partnership with COE partners to attract, retain, and develop key talent.
- Establish clarity about critical roles and develop strategies to address retention risks and skill gaps, ensuring depth and strength of the talent bench.
- Involved in the selection of internal and external talent for senior roles.
- Collaborate with leaders on setting business objectives, tracking and evaluating performance.
- Monitor business unit budgets and headcount effectively, contributing to organizational structure planning.
- Educate management on headcount planning and related metrics (e.g., span-of-control) to support business decisions.
- Work with compensation partners to develop team/individual compensation recommendations. Understand short-term and long-term incentives and how to apply them.
- Lead an effective and objective annual compensation review process
- Leverage annual engagement surveys, identify key metrics to assess organizational health and support leaders in driving effective actions plans.
- Oversight and advising on people relations issues, ensuring fair practices.

ÀÚ°Ý¿ä°Ç |
- Minimum of 10 years working experience with 5 years as a HR Business Partner within a dynamic, global business environment.
- Experience leading HR lifecycle processes (e.g. compensation planning) and leading organizational design and change efforts
- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work with multiple data sources and share insights
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across different time zones.
- Experience in working in a Hybrid organization. Working with COE¡¯s, partner teams
- Understanding and experience in working in Asian markets (China, Korea, and Malaysia).
- Experience of working in a multinational company is a plus
- Language: English working language skills. Preferred: Korean and/or Mandarin. |
