[RESPONSIBILITIES] - Love playing games and have an understanding of localizing the game contents.
- Analyze the game contents and develop localization strategies for the titles.
- Plan and manage game localization schedules, collaborating cross-functionally with other team members and vendors to define requirements and manage timelines. (We¡¯re not just translating, we¡¯re recreating the game contents through localization)
- Provide localization guidelines, reference material, training and support for partners (vendors and translators)
- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver localization best practices and to launch successfully localized games.
- Drive initiatives to foster innovation within strategic areas of focus such as localization process optimization, translation memory (data), vendors management, localization quality, LQA (build test) and CAT tools.
- Analyze current pain points in workflows and actively provide recommendations for feasible solutions.
- Make independent decisions and work well under pressure, in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
[MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS] - 2+ years of relevant experience in game localization (or localization) and project management.
- Fluency in English (no need to have native fluency, but need to be available in email communication, conference meetings with oversea partners, and co-working with English native speakers)
- Experience with localization process and CAT tools to manage and/or automate the translation workflow.
[PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS] - Localization experience with one or more AAA games titles.
- Another language aside from Korean and English.
